Fun in the Sun is a set of two paintings. They depict a happy, sunny, summer’s day at the beach. Colourful beach umbrellas feature with people surfing and enjoying themselves in the ocean. It is a spectacular day on an Australian beach. Tonia has been influenced by Australian and French Impressionists depicting everyday scenes of people enjoying nature, together with her love of the ocean.
Fun in the Sun are textured paintings. Acrylic paint has been applied with palette knives and brushes onto quality thick edge stretched canvases. To protect the painting, they are finished with two coats of satin varnish. These paintings have a continuous coastal scene so they can hang side-by-side, or separately. Each painting is individually framed in a quality white timber external frame with wire across the back of each.
They are light and joyful and will feature in any home.
Allow an extra 2-3 cm for space between paintings to the side-by-side measurements above.
